Yes, absolutely. All processing happens entirely in your browser - your photos never leave your device. We don't store, log, or transmit any of your data. The tool is open source, so you can verify our code if you wish.
No, cleaning privacy information does not affect the visual quality of your photo at all. We only remove hidden data from the photo. Your photo will look exactly the same, just without the privacy information.
We currently support JPG (JPEG) and PNG formats. RAW files and video formats are not supported at this time.
Note: HEIC format can be uploaded to view EXIF information, but cleaning is not currently supported. To clean HEIC files, please convert them to JPEG format on your device first.
